Hi Steve,

Sorry to hear you are getting spammed, but here is a few points.
First of all you are not getting spammed by us.

What is probably happening is that you specified that you wanted people to email you, via the email form, like the one here http://www.dogs.ie/510-pure-bred-gol...aniel-puppies/

If you send me the link to your advert I will get Paul to delete it ASAP.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

One good news is that we have started the development of dogs.ie 2.0 which should be ready in about a month. Stay tuned !

The new version of the site has a messaging system, so emails like this are now not as common. Ads also have more checks to make sure that they is little to no scammers on the website. To warn our users about scammers, we do have a section for that http://www.dogs.ie/spam/ so you can see some examples.

This sounds like a good idea, maybe people will search for a dog ad, or an email address when they are doing research on the owner and they will find out that it is indeed a scam and not a genuine ad.

Hi CiaraM, we are still working on the design (it's a slow process), but we are getting there. We also have a few ideas on other sections to launch, but again, we have to prioritise things, see as we are a free service and self funded we can't focus all our time on it.
